nursing cover big enough for twins?

Is there a nursing cover big enough for twins? Or will I have to sew my own? The one I used for DD isn't big enough to hide both breasts/babies. I expect to just strip off my shirt & bra and tandem nurse at first using my EZ2Nurse pillow. DH and my sister won't care, neither will my mom or MIL.
But I cannot stand the thought of nursing naked in front of my own dad (being the way he is) or some of my uncles or cousins. I didn't mind nursing DD in front of them because I could do it fairly discreetly and it wasn't a big deal.

What did you do?

I was SOOOO adverse to exposing my breasts in the beginning.

Now? Please! I'm so over it. I have to be reminded that guests

are around because the act has become so natural for me.

I haven't had much opportunity for nursing out in public because

DH is usually with me and he can bottle feed one. My whole

nursing getup requires some planning ahead - I don't think I

want to tandem in public.

When modesty is an issue, I tuck a receiving blanked into

the strap of my bra and it falls softly over their face. I like to

keep an eye on them as well so two receiving blankets is

how we roll. :)

Our Easter plans changed about an hour ago and now we

have in-laws coming to us so I guess at feeding time I will

run into our bedroom. I had all these plans to sew them

this and that and haven't thought once about that darn

sewing machine! LOL.

Make your goodies now, I don't think you'll have much time

when your babies arrive. :)

I don't tandem nurse in public. But I really don't enjoy tandem nursing much in private either. I like the one on one time with each baby and luckily they have big brothers/sister to hold them and make them smile while I nurse the other.

I also would try to use blankies to cover a bit.

But generally speaking, covers never worked for us. We got too hot. The babies pushed them off. Or they got distracted by the blankie rather than it keeping them focused. More of a pain that it was worth. So visitors got a show most of the time.

I saw some on Etsy the other day.  I will need one too to use at church.  Search twin nursing cover and some will come up that are cut bigger.  If you can sew you could probably make your own but it looks some of the ladies have already figured out what works.  I will be buying one soon, I am 30 wks today!

When they were really small and didn't move around and grab at my shirt so much, I tandem nursed mine with the EZ2nurse pillow.  I wouldn't be comfortable out in "public" but did it at home when visitors came.  When my hubby made a comment about the boob show, my dad was the one to say that you don't see anything if you're not looking.  If I'm in public I usually nurse one at a time, and when there's a lot of family around, there's usually someone who can hold one while I feed the other :)  But you have to do what you're comfortable with!

I used a handmade nursing cover with my EZ2Nurse pillow when someone was over, and it worked OK. I liked being able to see the babies with the stiff neck opening. It did not work as well when they were older and got curious. But when they were small, I'd sit down with the pillow, put a baby on each side, put on the nursing cover and then put get them started one at a time. I also tandem nursed them out and about a few times without the pillow (one in cradle hold, one laying on top of the bottom on more football style or when they were bigger both football style), and people were surprised that I was feeding them together. As they got older and faster, sometimes they would just take turns in public. Another thing I loved were nursing tanks - way less to expose (and as mine were winter babies, kept me warm too!) Good luck finding something that works for you!

Thanks for all your replies! I want a cover for the beginning with all the visitors (especially certain crude/rude male family members) when they are so tiny and taking longer to nurse. I doubt I'll use it often - just under those certain visitor circumstances. I'm hoping to sew it myself tomorrow! I have made a couple of nursing covers for others in the past, so hopefully it won't take me long. My plan is to just make it wider. I'm 34 weeks tomorrow, but am feeling crampy/PMSy today, so I hope nothing's up. I'm not quite ready for these babies yet and am hoping to make it full term.
