I had a few problems with the last episode. #1 JohnSmith killed a few people/creatures which is against his ethic code. #2 Dr Who killed someone which is against his ethics. I realize there was a mind meld thing going on and maybe killing her saved the other but still.. it's usually his MO to not kill even if it means losing someone that is loved and cared about.. as long as he doesn't inflict damage himself.

 

And come on... the main bad guy was like staring at wall paper there for awhile they could have all gotten out! and the screwdriver couldn't lock a little door? and and it takes two people to shut the door? Does the tardis have a never ending supply of screw drivers?

 

oh and the one guy who couldn't shut the door just let her eat him for no apparent reason. maybe he thought she would take her time but she wasn't hungry she was pissed. I'm like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?! Run you idiot!

 

So previously we thought Rory felt a kinship do to him being a robot at one point but maybe they just smelled like Pond to him :p


The Amy ganger was just an avatar. It wasn't the same thing as the gangers he was advocating for earlier. It didn't have it's own conscience. Real Amy was controlling it, not realizing that her real body was elsewhere. He didn't kill it because it wasn't alive in the first place which is why he could do it to save Amy.

New episode.. just gotta say.. told ya so :P  (or if I didn't say here.. told my dh so! lol)

 

I was thinking it was the Silence that took her though  not that weirdo woman.

 

Oh.. Dr who "and we smoochy smoochy?? tee hee!"  lol kinda weird....

 

And AS SOON as that girl made the name in her native tongue I turned to dh and said usually words don't transfer over perfectly... yup I rock neener neener lol

 

Funny the crib was new yet old.

I liked it, too.  I like how it's coming together, though I admit I'm not following it entirely.  Lots of connecting the dots out of sequential order has me a bit confused. 

 

Still impressed with Rory's acting!

Ah, I'll admit when I first read people speculating that River was Amy's daughter, I thought, "There's no way! For one thing, they look nothing at all alike..." without even thinking of Rory, haha. Rory is fantastic, by the way. ;)
I liked that episode a lot. I kept getting teary-eyed.

No new episode this week?! :(I now want to go back and see her reactions to rory. I meanI guess she is younger now and so how she was surprised to see rory alive made a little more sense but a little scary as to what happens to rory :(

was really horrifying...no wonder she was so traumatized.

Yessssss!

Instead of a two part finale this year they are splitting the season up so you have a 1 episode mid season cliffhanger (that we just watched) and then the second half of the season ended by a 1 episode finale. The next episode is Sept 17th or something like that. They have filmed them all already, just not airing them yet.

next season they are splitting into 2 YEARS = half in 2012 and half in 2013

You know, as a mom I'd really appreciate it if my favorite shows premired in June when my kids are on break from school.  Doctor Who doesn't come back until September, when we're back at school and shouldn't be watching tv! irked.gif
