Can they do the leaky gut test in toddlers?

I know there's a test for leaky gut but can't think of the name right off hand. Anyways, can this be done in toddlers? DD2 is almost 21 months and I suspect leaky gut. Also, is this something an allergist would do or would it be more common for a GI or ped to do? Thanks!

I am not aware of any such test.  I would love to hear more about it!  

 

I would tend to think that it isn't something a mainstream (allergist or GI) would do though. Maybe a chiro or NP?

The PEG test was what I was thinking about, It doesn't sound like something they would do with a toddler but I'm not sure. I wish I could take her to an alternative doctor but we just don't have the money :(
