Cervix checkers: what's up? - Page 5

I had a tiny smidgen of mucus today, which made me inordinately happy.

Cervix is definitely more dilated than it was a few days ago. The baby's head also seems to be much more lined up with it than it was even just a day ago. I'm so happy to be feeling some progress!

My dilation still feels about the same, around a 3-4, but the past day and a half or so there's been way more cervical mucous & discharge. It's watery but also with some snot-textured stuff. Pair that with the suddenly runny nose and it seems like my body is trying to clean out every mucous membrane I own. lol

Finally!!! I can feel my cervix!!! It is nice and soft, about 1-2cm, and I have had lots of mucous the last few days. This is pretty much how things were for the last few weeks of my last pregnancy so I am not getting excited just yet. I am just happy that some progress has been made!

Jenni, I think you are having a baby tomorrow. Maybe Monday. I can just feel it!!!

For sure!  I was like 3 and a half at 39 weeks with my daughter, but I stayed that way for a whole week and a half.  Hopefully this time I'll get to 3-4 and keep on going!  LOL!

I have had a TON of mucus in the last few days, but not anything mucus-plug-like.  Just tons more mucus than normal.  It's really digusting...I hate wearing panty liners because it's so hot down here right now they break my skin out, and then the alternative is to just be constantly damp down there.  UGH!  Gross!

I suddenly can't seem to reach mine quite as well. I'm not sure why that is. Maybe baby's head is pushing it back or something?

I think I am a little more dilated since last week. I've had some random annoying cramping today, and I thought I was a little more dilated this afternoon than this morning, but that might have just been wishful thinking.

Anybody else still checking?

Every now and then since I can reach it a little better. I don't know what I'm looking to find exactly - a glob of mucous, a head hanging out or something.

I'm still checking.  I can't feel any real changes, though, which like Kawa said, I have no idea what I'm expecting!  I guess I'm wishing I would check and feel the bag of water or baby's head through the cervix.  I still can't reach my cervix, but baby's head is right there and fully engaged in my pelvis.  Other than that, no action.
