GBS and EPO capsules?

So I normally start EPO capsules vaginally about now (37 weeks) only I found out Im GBS positive... does anyone else have experience with this issue and was it advised against? I worry about pushing any bacteria up further than it would NORMALLY go... and the issue I have is that my midwives are VERY conservative due to to Hospital guidelines.

I was GBS+ and I started taking EPO orally and vaginally around 37 weeks. My CNM just said to use a diluted wash of hibiclens on my fingers when inserting. Also, I was to use this wash whenever I had a bm or had intercourse and to rinse with water afterward. She also used the diluted mixture while I was giving birth because I declined antibiotics. It worked for me and neither I nor my DD have had any problems.
