Has anyone been able to choose the anesthesiologist for a repeat c-section?

I just hadn't thought of that before now. I wasn't sure if it would be looked at as a really annoying request or if it would be at least a compliment to request someone in particular.

 I know that you can often request the same doctor, but I also thought the anesthesiologist for my first c-section was really good.

The funny thing is....I'm not even sure who it is or what they look like! Ha ha! I had an unplanned c-section last time, so I was too out of it in pain to notice, but I know that they did a good job. 

I guess my OB will know, though, since it's probably in my medical records. I guess?

I'm not sure, but a friend of mine who is an anesthesiologist and performs c-sections told me that she loves it because she gets to witness the miracle of birth like an OB but rarely has to come in at all hours of the night and be owned by pregnant women.  I bet you could ask and some would do it, but not sure if it's ever standard procedure.
