Weaning and Missed Period?

Hi. Thank you so much to anyone who makes it through my post.

I am 24 years old. I eat a super healthy diet and am in general good health.

I have been nursing my daughter for 3 years. My period returned about 2 months after she was born and they have been regular ever since they began. (26 day cycles)

She was nursing about 6-8 times a day and nursed pretty much everyday in the very early morning. They would be full nursing sessions.

Within the last month, she has slowed down to about 2-3 times a day and they only last about 2 minutes each breast.

This is a big change for us.

My last period was March 3 and it was due again on March 29. It never came. I got a negative hpt.

I had light pink/dark brown and sometimes bright red spotting/bleeding for 5 days. (The length of my regular period.)

I have not had any spotting since. My period was due again April 24. It never came.

My husband and I have been using the pull out method. I have taken home pregnancy tests about 10 times or more- yikes!- all throughout this time.

I don't feel pregnant, except my nipples have been a bit sensitive most, but not all of these days. I also have increased gas some days.

I have the sensation (a couple times a day and they only last literally 5 seconds) that a finger is poking me inside, on my left side. The feeling is mostely low in the pelvis but sometimes much higher up or more in the middle. I fear I am having an ectopic pregnancy. I'm really worried!

In the last two days, I've been a feeling bit crampy on both sides, but hardly at all.

I usually know my period is coming because I feel like cleaning the house, etc. I keep thinking my period is coming because I've been cleaning a lot, but I have been feeling that way for the last month!

I have had two miscarriages after the birth of my daughter and I'm afraid that something is wrong with me.

I'm reading that weaning can cause cycles to be irregular. I hope that's all that's going on!

Has anybody experienced late/missed periods due to weaning?

Thank you so much.

I forgot to ask if maybe the spotting/bleeding WAS my cycle. Also, I have made a doctors appointment but I cannot get in until May 26th.
