BFN at 15 dpo with short cycles? Please respond!

Ok, I don't chart.  So, most of the stuff like CM and temps and stuff I have no idea about.  My cycles are weird, and I think short.  My last period was March 29, the one before that was March 1, and the one before that was Feb. 5.  Today is April 25 and no period, BFN.  I have been having symptoms for the last week or so.  On and off nausea, extreme tiredness, flu-like symptoms last night (disappeared after a couple of hours), mild cramping (I usually never get cramping on any day other than the first day of my cycle), lower back pain (on and off only about twice), full feeling in lower abdomen, and extreme gassiness and bloating.  So, my question is, is it normal to not have a bfp on 15 dpo with such short cycles?  What do you all think?

While a lot of women would test positive at 15 DPO, there are certainly women that take longer, especially if their LP is typically longer.  How do you know you ovulated 15 days ago?  Can you feel it?  If not, you can't know for sure when you ovulated or how long your typical luteal phase is- which is why temping and CF can be so helpful in these situations!   Ovulation may have been delayed due to any number of factors: illness, travel, injury, stress, etc.  So it's also entirely possible that you're not 15 DPO and AF or a BFP is just around the corner!

Well, I don't know for sure.  I just did one of those ovulation calculators on webmd.  It said that my most fertile days were the 8th through the 12th, I think.  I was just going off of that.  I can usually feel when I O, but I don't remember this month which day that was.  Like I said, I am just guessing.  What do you think?

If you can feel ovulation, then how long is your typical luteal phase (the time between O and AF)?   I always wait to test until 2 days after my longest LP.  Also, if you're not sure when you felt it this cycle, then it is entirely possible that ovulation was delayed from your average O day.  I'm not sure what WebMD uses to calculate your most fertile days, but the time between AF and O is highly variable.  Your LP will remain constant within a day or so, but those pre-O days could be short or long depending on what is happening in your body and your life during that cycle.  So basically without knowing all the details of this cycle, only time will tell.  You certainly have a lot of symptoms that could indicate pregnancy, but my advice would be to wait another 5-7 days and test again if AF hasn't shown up yet.  Good luck, I know the wait is difficult!

Thank you! It is so hard to wait and I am a very impatient person!  :)  I will probably just end up taking a test every morning.  They are dollar tree tests so it won't be that much.  :)  Thank you so much for the information!  :)  God bless your pregnancy!  This will be my third one too if it's positive!  :)
