ciga- no worries, even if its not this month at least im able to try again! I honestly did not think I would ever talk my husband into another child but he said we could try, maybe thats why hes not trying as hard as I think he should be... either way I still have hope now, I had lost it all. I just decided I wanted to run the same race I did last year this year too (the Warrior Dash) so if it ends up being this month I will be 29 weeks when race day comes! So maybe next month would be better?? I don't know I overthink EVERYTHING!

Hi again all!

I wanted to list my symptoms and see what some of you think.  I have never felt these symptoms post-ovulation before and so early before AF arrives (she's due in 9 day)...  (first, background- this is our second cycle of ttc baby #1..DH and I are both 28)

3dpo- pulling/twinges in pelvis begin in early afternoon, bbs and nipples become very sore

4dpo- cramps become AF-like and continue on/off all day, bbs and nipples very sore

5dpo- AF-like cramps on/off all day, bbs and nipples very sore

6dpo- AF-like cramps on/off all day, bbs and nipples still sore AND left bb actually feels bigger than the right and fits into my bra more snug than the right (weird... normal??)

I'm not charting temps, but if not successful this month, might consider it.

Like I said, haven't felt symptoms like this so soon before AF arrives (usually feel them day before, even sore bbs).

I'm a 1st grade teacher and on my feet all day, so in terms of fatigue, it's hard to know if I'm tired from work or pg...

Any thoughts? Waiting game sucks, lol... 2whistle.gif

Hey Karen!  Just wanted to say hello and I was in your place exactly 2 years ago... DH and I started trying for our son in March 2010.... got preggers in June!  I'm excited for you and would HIGHLY suggest temping!  It's great to see if you even ovulated.... and it's just COOL to look back and see that the baby you're with (someday) is from the chart you have a copy of.  I think it's neat anyway!!!!  AFM I don't remember any feelings of anything except feeling EXTREMELY sick to my stomach 8dpo.  I took a test at 9dpo and got my BFP.  My boobs didn't start hurting till I was 6 weeks along. So excited for you, hoping you get a  BFP!

argh!  I buckled and tested today at 15dpo. I was actually really surprised to see the BFN.  I'm having such a weird month.  I started cramping at 11 dpo and now I have total AF cramp but no AF. I usually start breaking out the week before AF but not at all this month.  I wish she would just hurry up an come so I could stop wondering.   I feel like a BFN  at 15dpo is kind of definitive.  Sorry for the vent but I am so over this 2WW

i can totally understand venting about this...it seems so irrational, why its so easy for some and not for others...tested this afternoon after a trip to target resulted in three FRERs for 7.99. . .BFN on either 10 or 11 DPO. I actually think i am right at 10.5 dpo. if that makes any sense...temp shot up to 98.5 this morning...so if my implantation dip was yesterday it could still be early...?

I'm also struggling to be patient through the two week wait...it's so hard.  I currently have a 14 month old son.  This is our 2nd month of trying, but I'm not charting or temping at all.  My periods have been regularly irregular (between 25 and 32 days) since they returned 7 months ago after my first pregnancy.  Assuming that I even O'd this cycle, I'm between 6 and 12 days post O.  I caved and tested Friday morning, and not surprisingly got a BFN.  I'm having a hard time being calm about this cycle.  I think it's partially because if it doesn't happen this month were going to wait until July to try again (my husband is finishing his ph.d next year and will be traveling for interviews january-march of next year.  All the interviews and hiring in his field happen during those months).  I'm trying my best to relax and just accept that whatever happens will happen, but I'm a huge planner so that's easier said than done.

I don't have any questions, I just wanted to introduce myself and join in and commiserate with the rest of you.  Good luck to everyone!

Oh Ciga- sorry. Me 11dpo bfn. With a frer. I find that rather definative too. Especialy since o was so definate. Here we go again.

Ciga & Sherry, I'm so sorry to hear :(  As a newer member of the ttc & tww community, I have such a new and profound appreciation for what women go through..women are amazing.

Right now I'm 8 dpo (AF due in 6-7 days)... and all of the twinging/cramping that I listed in my post above has really dissipated in the last 1-2 days.  I certainly feel bloated & hungry almost all of the time.  And my sore bbs that I listed above are still very sore, but now it's mostly in the left one... the left one is actually much fuller than the right... I've never noticed that happening before and DH was actually very surprised by them!

My symptoms are so identical to PMS, I don't know what to think.  The pulling/twinges/cramps for those 4 days were certainly new for me this month as well as the one left sore/full bb.

BTW, this month was my first time using an OPK, so DH and I were spot on with BD all around O day and on O day... we covered our bases!  This was also our first month using PreSeed, which I've read so many success stories about.

I really really appreciate the support guys.  Thank you.  My husband just doesn't understand. He's like "won't you be happy if you get pregnant next month or the month after or the month after?  So why be sad now? It'll happen at some point"  Which I admit is likely true, but still unhelpful.

karen- they make the symptoms the same as PMS just to drive us crazy.

Sherry- don't give up yet! 11dpo is still early.  I keep hearing about all these women who test postive at like 10 dpo and then others who don't test positive until like 20 dpo.

That said, AF is still nowhere to be found 16dpo and CD32.  I had wicked cramps all day yesterday. I was so sure I would wake up bleeding but here I am still waiting and still holding out hope.  Yesterday I realized that if I'm not pregnant then I can get the Xrays I know I need at my dentist appointment next Monday and not have to wait 9 months and if I am pregnant I'll have an awesome baby. Win win!  Its silly but it was the only upside I could come up with to not being pregnant this month so I'm running with it.

good luck everybody!

I am so sorry about the bfn's ciga and sherry. It's such a long wait only to be disappointed at the end. I hope next month is your month!

I myself am still fighting off a cold, I have had it for a week now. Husband keeps telling me oh just take this or that and I don't want to take anything just in case I am pregnant. We had to take an emergency trip into town today and I really wanted to stop and get a few tests but I decided to wait til next weekend as to not drive myself crazy. Today I all of a sudden felt really sick like I was going to puke so I took a nap and it helped. I feel like I am trying to read into every little thing to get my hopes up. Only 1 more week and I can test.

Hi all.  7dpo, and as I was on my way home from my sisters tonight, my dd vomited all over the back seat of the car.  Our whole family had the pukies last month, too.  She's sleeping now, but I'm not trusting that that's last of the vomit for tonight.  Not only am I worried about her now, but I am worried that I'm going to get it and it's going to harm any possible chance I may be pg.  I know I need to stop obsessing over every little thing, but it's been nearly two years now, and it's super disappointing to think something like this could ruin another cycle.

Marmo, sorry about dd :(  What a bummer, positive vibes your way!

Pogo, I hear you on trying NOT to read into every little thing, it's almost impossible.  I keep telling myself "stop reading forums", but who am I kidding?  I need to hear from other women who have experienced the same thing.  My DH keeps telling me to "relax, just wait it out"... easier said than done, pal ;)

Today I'm 9 dpo...

2 dpo: cm started to dry up

3-8 dpo: on/off pulling twinges in pelvis and around ovaries (O-like feeling), bloated (AF-like feeling), dryness (little to no CM), sore right bb & VERY sore LEFT bb (why only the left? i'm still so confused by this... i'm only an A cup, but i had dh feel them and he immediately noticed increase in fullness in the left more than right... i've heard something like 99% of women have one slightly larger than the other... maybe I always have and just never noticed until now... but, i sure feel like i would have noticed this!)

today 9 dpo: CM is back this morning (glob this morning..sorry tmi..cloudy beige color), still feeling AF-like "fullness" in pelvis and occasional O-like twinges as I have all week since O

I've also experienced very vivid dreams every single night since 2 dpo, but didn't want to count that as a symptom as I'm a heavy sleeper in general.

AF due in 5 days, really don't want to test until she (HOPEFULLY!) appears nowhere in sight... but, if symptoms rise, I might test a little early.  I'm especially anxious to see if any nausea kicks in.

Hello! I haven't been on these boards for almost two years, but I am finding myself in another 2WW. I am pretty sure I O'd yesterday (based on temps, but this is my first month charting since I got pregnant with DD2 in July 2009), so I have a LONG way to go! Luckily my birthday is Saturday, so we have plans and I have something to look forward to to get my mind off the 2WW.

Good luck to everyone!

Pogo- It took me months to convince my DH that we should have a third, and I, too, feel like he isn't "trying" as hard as he has in the past, probably because he's not TOTALLY crazy about the idea. It stinks!

Hi everyone, I wrote in here last week during my 2WW and sadly I have since gotten my period.....booo!  Anyways, it was pretty sad to find out I wasn't pregnant and then today I realized I completely missed ovulation for this month and I'm pretty sure thats why it didn't work!  I've been tracking my periods since last summer and I finally took the time to count how long each cycle was.  Turns out my periods since getting off the pill average between 26 and 31 days.  This is making it super hard to figure out when I ovulate!!  The past two months that I've "tried" to get pregnant I was using online ovulation calculators, BIG mistake!  This time I'm taking all my fertile days (by litterally counting on a calendar) into account and having sex every other day, is that what most everyone does?

Any tips on how many times to have sex during your fertile time?  Any moms out there have tips for this?  Thanks!

Looks like I'll be back in the 2WW later this week already!

uggghh, so I broke down and tested, 9 dpo WHAT was I thinking.  of course, BFN.  became too tempted by the dollar tree cheapies!

I broke down and tested again too...and no surprise it was a BFN (yesterday morning). I'm anywhere between 8 and 12 DPO now.... It's so hard to wait. Of course it doesn't help that I have a few boxes of tests lying around to tempt me.

Hi all... was on here in November/December, our first month TTC, and had a chemical pregnancy. The next month was anovulatory and finally we tried again, and I just got a BFP two days ago (10 DPO - early, but the month of the chemical pregnancy I got a BFP at 7 dpo).... got another BFP yesterday with the same type of test (Rite Aid early result). Woke this morning and took an early result FRER and it was totally, totally negative, as was the Wondfo strip I tried. So I'm going for a blood test tomorrow afternoon, but feel like this was another chemical pregnancy. Feeling pretty shitty - and worried that something is wrong with me that the egg isn't implanting or implanting properly.... Boo, boo, boo. AF is due tomorrow - I know I'm testing early, but I felt like if I had another chemical I'd want to know so I could go get my progesterone levels checked etc.... anyhow, any thoughts? Good luck to all of you waiting!!

hadleymonroe- Oh man, I'm so sorry. I wish I had something helpful to tell you but I am feeling pretty clueless about TTC right now.

firsttimettc- I also have a crazy cycle last month it was 28 days and this month AF didn't show until CD33 when I was getting pretty convinced I was pregnant.  Usually its not more than 31 days.  In any case it makes following online fertility calculators difficult.  Last month I based it partially on the calculators and mostly on EWCM.  I'm thinking we'll either go the every other day and every day during heavy CM route this month or I'm considering buying ovulation strips online and knowing for sure. I'm tempted to order cheapy tests online too but I do not want to test until 12-14 dpo under any circumstances.  Those early BFNs were too depressing the last couple months.

AFM-  Obviously, I am out this month.  AF showed up yesterday afternoon on CD 33.  Longest cycle I've had in a long long time with the weirdest pms ever.  I am wondering if stress did it. Anyway, good luck to all of you and I'll probably be back next month.

Hadleymonroe: I'm so sorry, I am sooooo confused with all of this TTC stuff. I have been making myself crazy for 2 months now. I hope you get some answers when you go in.

I am once again bummed out and thinking this is not my month, my temp dropped to 97.1 today and that's really really close to my coverline so I think that's a sign. I was getting so excited even though I knew I shouldn't have. I am at 8 dpo today so still can't even test for a few days.... Oh well I guess we will see what happens.

hi all,

i tested yesterday at 12 dpo and got  a faint positive with a frer and fmu. went and got a dollar test and tested in the afternoon and got a faint-yet-darker than-frer positve in the middle of the afternoon. tested this am with FMU and got a mid-to-faint positive and much, much darker than yesterdays test and came up immediately.

then, two hours later, started bleeding. not spotting.

i think this is our second chemical in a couple of months...progesterone at 5dpo was 10.3 - so is that the problem?

i'm so sad. i turned 37 on sunday and have been having major "symptoms" and so thought this would be the month.
