Sherry, i think you're right (unfortunately!)... I would love to see good news from someone soon!

So, I just got another BFN at 10 dpo.  Really hoping it's still too early, my symptoms seemed promising this month, unless they were just "promising" to be super PMS.  Ugghhh.  The witch is due in 4-5 days...  hope I'm not out yet this month, but not feeling confident.

Well I am at 9dpo and my temp shot back up this morning, so I asked my husband if he would buy me a test and he wont. I really don't think he understands how hard it is to sit and wonder all day long. He asked when AF was due, I told him sometime around Monday and he said that we could test if she doesn't show up by next Friday... nope I refuse to wait that long. So I will go buy a test on Saturday but I REALLY wanted to test in the morning. Oh well. Hope everyone else is having a better day than I am.

I'm sorry for all the BFN'S!!! makes me sad!  I really hope that people come back on and say if they get BFP's!!

Cecelia, it was my bday on the 11th and a few days later AF arrived.  It was a sad day all around.  I feel your pain, but Happy Birthday anyways!

Thanks for all the tips and info that people post.  It really helps to know we're not alone.  I'm going to be starting to try again this week.....wish me and my hubby luck!

I'm so sad to read about the BFNs and chemical pregnancies. My thoughts are with you ladies.

I just posted this in the Mirena thread, but I thought I'd share here.

I am on what I thought was CD18, and I JUST got a BFP. Two weeks ago I thought I had what was my first "period" -- rather light flow for three days -- after having Mirena removed on Jan. 13. I actually had a case of bacterial vaginosis before and after that "period," so I went to the doctor on Feb. 6 for antibiotics (which I never ended up taking because it started to clear up by just taking Florajen). They did a pregnancy test at that time "just in case," but it came back negative.

So for the past few days I've been having the "I need to eat now or I am going to kill someone" type of hunger I always have in early pregnancy, and I've been CRAZY exhausted, to the point where I'm falling asleep watching TV at night, which I never do. I actually took a nap yesterday on the couch during DD2's nap. In addition to that, I have been feeling quite bloated in the evenings, which is another early pregnancy sign for me. Also, my temps have been crazy high and have stayed that way. I mistook a temp drop on Sunday as the day I O'd (given that it was on CD15 and I always used to O on CD14 or 15), but I was starting to second guess that. Anyway, because of those things, I couldn't stop thinking about testing. So after I came home from lunch with a friend, I decided to go for it. I had a Target brand test, and I thought to myself, "Why am I wasting this?!" However, it showed up positive before I even finished peeing/wiping/getting off the toilet. I was SHOCKED.

So to make a really long story short, I guess I didn't even have a period after Mirena before getting pregnant. Wow. I am in shock right now. I cannot wait for my husband to come home from work!!!!! Happy birthday to me (Saturday)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can completely sympathize.  I am 5 dpo and already bargaining with myself as to how soon I can test, even though I know I will be crushed by a BFN whether it is accurate or not.  technically due for AF on Monday but Oed 2 days later than normal this month so really have no idea what my cycle is going to look like.  There is 1 last test sitting under by bathroom sink and I swear it is calling me!

Save your HPT! 5 DPO is way to early, implantation doesn't occur on average until 8-10 DPO. hoping you get a BFP this weekend!

I am not caving yet, just keep bargaining with myself about Sunday vs Monday etc.

So I'm driving myself crazy!!! I don't have a two week wait because since going off the mirena I haven't had a period (not even withdrawl bleeding)  and I didn't have a period on Mirena , so I have no idea where to start.  I'm 22 days past the removal and the only physical symptoms I've had at all was some sharp cramps on the left side on day 12 and some general cramping yesterday and nausea today.  I have no idea what to do or when to do it... I am trying so hard to be patient but at this point I'm about to lose it... a stomach bug at this point would be a really bad joke

Findingsara: are you charting? I think this would probably be one of the best things you can do. As your body regulates itself you should be able to start to see a pattern in your cycles. I have been charting for almost 3 years to avoid pregnancy and I have learned so much about my body. Fertility friend online is very helpful as is the book taking charge of your fertility, I can't remember the authors name though. Also the mamas on this board are very helpful! Good luck!

the later the better, because as they say... if you get a negative, try again in 3 days, which sometimes feels worse than the 2WW.

CamoShades: Congrats!! That is such exciting news!

My temp was still high today, still waiting for Saturday so I can go take a test, however I am hoping I can convince my husband to run by one of my friends houses to go get me a test that she has so I dont have to wait any longer, but its really snowy here and he hates driving in it. I felt crampy this morning and my hip kinda hurts, dont know if its AF coming or not... If its her then she should be here anytime between today and Monday but I am sooooo tired of waiting.

It's nice to see some good news! Congratulations CamoShades!!

I completely understand Pogo. I am planning to wait until Saturday, but may cave and do it tomorrow. I haven't been temping, but I've been feeling a bit crampy like AF is about to start for the past two days now...but so far nothing. Yesterday I also started feeling something similar to the round ligament pain that I had starting the the 2nd trimester during my first pregnancy....but I have no idea if that is an indication of anything. My period is due any time between yesterday and Saturday. Waiting is hard!

I haven't had a cycle yet so i don't really know where to start with my temps... I am tracking temp, cervix position and symptoms in pink pad, but I only started tracking when I got the mirena removed so the temps don't make much sense yet I was really thinking I'd have a period by now so I could start to figure out what's going on with my body. I know my cervix was low early last week and now it's really high symptoms are really all over the map.. i honestlt think i O'ed on the 12th from the position and cramping on one side, but I really don't know what is going on and my impatient self wants to get this show on the road

Findingsara: as long as you are tracking it you will start to see a pattern eventually. From what I understand after using birth control your body will take some time to adjust, so I know its hard but give it time and it will eventually go back to normal. I was on birth control, the pill and the depo shot for 8 years and once I got off it I was pregnant within 3 month. Be patient (easier said than done) and it will happen. Good luck!

Hi ladies,

I am back in again

already feeling a bit lost this month... Think hubby and I have missed my fertile days :(

We have both been very Ill off and on, and every time I am well he isn't and vice versa... At the beginning I felt very good about this month but now not :(

sorry to bum you all out- feeling a bit sad about it.

how many of you use OPKs and get positives? My CM is perfect egg white around days 12 to 15 ish but no positives from OPKs ??? Also does FF only mark your ovulation if your temping? It hasn't marked mine ever but I don't temp??

how we all doing???

Plover to all

I got a vey faint but unmistakable BFP this morning!!! I decided to test today because I started feeling round ligament pain two days ago. That was the first symptom that made me think I really was pregnant. I still haven't officially missed my period yet, so now I'm praying for a sticky baby and healthy pregnancy. Good luck to everyone! I hope to see you in the November Due Date Club soon!

You can change the setting on FF to what they base O day on, but I do believe the default settings are based on charting temps and having more than one cycle of info.

As for getting positive OPKs, I actually started a thread "OPK Progression", I use FR OPKs and test with SMU around 10am- 11am. If you are not getting +OPKs, that may mean you are missing the surge and/or it is short and should test every 12 hours.
