I will be 41 in a few days. I don't feel older either. I run 50+ miles per week and lift weights. I had DS when I was 38 and ran 7 miles the day my water broke. I had a midwife who supported my running and lifestyle last pregnancy. Due to a different insurance plan, I have to see an ob this time. I have an appt in a few days. It will be interesting to see what happens at my appt and if I am treated differently now that I am 40.

Hi. I'm 41 now, and will be 42 by baby's birthday. I dont really feel old either, though I cant say I run..anywhere...ever. I walk, and try to stay fit though. I'm planning a homebirth, and my midwife hasnt said anything at all about my age. Anyway, you're not alone.
I knew I loved my midwife when I said "I'm going to be 40 when we deliver and this is our first child." And she laughed and said "So? People give birth at 40 all the time - its just a number." <3

I far from feel old either. I take daily power walks, and will be restarting my strength and flex yoga classes on Sunday. I stopped just for April because I felt lousy!
