Pleased with this Community, but do I ever miss Mothering Magazine! Â I can never really relax online, and reading is crazier and more scattered. Â I used to read from cover to cover, even about things that I wouldn't bother about online, making me more open-minded. Â Ah, well...
I began this mothering journey with a C-section and a fussy nurser (and how!) who ended up having extensive allergies and just plain eating issues (she really didn't know that that awful feeling in her tummy was about being hungry!)
The journey continued with a VBAC and jumping whole heartedly into bedsharing (still happy and cozy 6 years later). Â The two-futon solution has spawned many great gymnastics sessions as well.
And on we go! Â We are "beginning" to homeschool, and we are an avid nature-art-science-reading-math-garden-and-chicken-lovin'-unschooling family.
We live in a small town near Olympia and appreciate any good connections in our community (online or nearby) we can make to enrich our days.
Looking forward to meeting everyone in the forums. Â
