PPD and it's affect on baby

I'm wondering if moms with PPD and/or have experience with how it may affect their baby, i.e. causing the baby to have more anxiety, etc. Has anyone come across any good reading material or resources on this? I have PPD and history of depression and worried how it may be affecting my baby.

Have you thought of doing a developmental screening for your little one?  My state offers free screenings (and classes if the child is behind).  I have some issues with depression and it really helped me to have those resources.  Looks like Washington has a similar program.  have you sen this website?: http://www.parenttrust.org/index.php?page=asq
