HappyMommy2, if I am watching on the pop out window from the toolbar but I am not logged into the toolbar, my meter won't go up even if I watch. I would just make sure you are logged into the toolbar and the website.

You don't have to get Amazon (or any other gift card) if you don't want. There's a ton of things you can redeem in the Swagstore.

Amazon- you can use it for some food as well. we buy our seventh generation dishwasher soap from amazon, since it is cheaper. you can also get shelf stable things like coconut oil, soap, vanilla extract etc

You don't have to buy Amazon GC's.  They have lots of other things to buy from swagbucks, and even paypal credits.  And yes, amazon has everything these days, light bulbs, air filters, whatever you need!

I didn't know you could even log into the tool bar too.  How exactly do you do that?  I have refreshed it and it says "happymommy2 you have 385 SB" ... so I must be logged into it already...?

Right now I'm saving mine up for a new chef knife, which I suppose I could get by without, but mine is crap and a better one will make it much easier for me in the kitchen. I also want to buy a Diva Cup, which I don't absolutely need since I already have a stash of mama cloth, but will make my life easier. For me it seems to be things I can really use but can't seem to swing into the budget. I've bought some things I don't need at all, namely music. But I also bought some very needed flea products with some of my Amazon cards awhile ago. (Long answer to a short question, lol.)

You can also cash in for other things, including paypal. Amazon has LOTS of stuff though - food, cleaning supplies, clothing, furniture, etc.

I use them to get our homeschooling books and stuff, so it's all things I'd have to buy with cash otherwise.

I just bought coffee and tea tree oil on Amazon!

I learned about swagbucks here and I love it.  I always go for the $5 amazon cards.  My one tip is that if you also do Groupon deals, a lot of times if you link through Swagbucks, you can get 100+ points. :)

Does anyone else here use Irazoo? They are similar to swagbucks, but it's easier to earn the amazon GC's as they give a lot more points. Downside is you have to wait a month plus to get the gift card.

For a while, I did IRAZOO along with Swagbucks but stopped. I prefer SB.

yes i love it and search useing the toolbar all the time. I buy amazon giftcards with them.

I do it and get about $25 a month in amazon cards.

I have my kids signed up on their computer so we have two accounts.   Its their job to do the daily poll, click through the NOSO, watch the ad, and play games.  Everyone in the family does searches until they win swag bucks twice ~ how they earn computer time ;-)  We do everything on both accounts (average is 7 points.  but that is  15 per person per day or 60 points between the two accounts. plus another 20 or so from the other stuff.)

I often buy groupons through there and occasionally other stuff I need.  If i am going to shop on line I click around there first.  Once I found 200 swag bucks for shopping at gap which i was heading too anyway.

The searching for points is completely random and usually hits by my third search.  I try to always search for where I am going.

We don't watch for codes much but I get a text when there is a new code and if we are on the computer will enter it.  But they are usually only about 5 points so not worth going crazy trying to get them.  Might as well type in random searches..

Joining this thread. I just joined. I am on day three and have 138 points so far. My goal is a amazon gift card every 10 days. I hope I can lean some tricks and tips. It has been kind of fun. I am sure once school starts again I will NOT have time for it but it will be a fun summer activity.

Food? Toilet paper? Toothbrushes? Amazon sells a ton of different goodies...

You can get groceries on amazon.  You will always need groceries.

I am getting a Kindle and getting rid of a lot of my books.

Next week Amazon gift cards are paying for at least half of the external hard drive I need. I'm trying to be as diligent as I can about racking up the bucks and get at least three $5 Amazon cards a month.

I've been using swagbucks for almost a month and have only earned one $5 amazon card. Any advice on how to increase my swagbucks?

http://sc-s.com/  They will send you a text when there is a new code (most of the time.  I did not get a text for the last two.)  Otherwise I would never find them.

Also really look at the daily deals and other deals.  There may be something you plan to buy.  That's how I get most of mine.   Also I search until I hit something 2-3 times per day.  It is the worst search engine ever ....but it is random and you can type in really random stuff.  I did lyrics to a song one day.....usually takes less than five minutes.

Ugh, so my sister signed up with my link and I am not getting credit for it. It seems like there is so many glitches that it makes it not worth it. I am not keeping my goal of 50 points a day. Not even close. The surveys are useless. The search engine is terrible and frustrating. But the videos are fun. I will keep trying but I am not as hopeful as I was.

okay, just got 5 points for the code

Yep, sureys are useless, as are the tasks/jobs.  So much work for so little money.

A good place to get money though is to fill out your survey profiles.  I think you can collect about 200 dollars.  I told my kids to do it and just make up/guess answers.

Also I signed my kids up with my link and nothing.  I don't know how that is supposed to work.

And the search engine sucks.  If I need real information I go to google.

Every day: log onto your toolbar= 1SB, NOSO= 2 SB, Daily Poll= 1SB, Click on 'surveys'=1SB.  I get a couple hits on surveys each day.

I buy Groupons fairly often.  You can buy groupons from any city, just get there through Swagbucks toolbar or SB homepage.  If you want to buy multiple groupons, buy them seperately and then you get credited the 160 SB for each transaction.

Referrals are great, too - SB matches you the search points earned from your referral.  So, if folks are signing up from reading this thread, you might want to ask for some pm's with referral codes before you sign up, so you can hook up some other mamas too :)  Each referral maxes out at 1000 SB.
