How do you sprout your brown rice?

I am battling an autoimmune disease and in my trial and error I've found that one of the many healing foods for me is brown rice.  I make at least 4 cups a week.  I was reading about sprouting them to increase their healing properties.  I was wondering if a crockpot on the "warm" function would work?

Thanks!

My crockpot's "warm" setting will simmer water, so that's too hot ;) But you could try following the instructions for other types of grains, like the way people sprout wheat. I don't know whether rice will sprout but it might be worth at try.

I have sprouting chart that gives the following info for brown rice:  soak for 4-6 hours, rinse 3 times daily, sprout for 2 days, rice will double in volume.  Make sure that after the initial soak, the grain is not sitting in water; it will be kept moist from the rinses.
