Milk after weaning???!!

HI

I am not sure where to post this exactly-sorry if this is not the right forum....

My 2.5 Ds has only had breast milk. He has never had cow's milk but he has had cheese and yogurt and not done great with dairy. He tends to get post nasal congestion... I don't do well with dairy either...

What should I give him after he is weaned???!!!

Do kids need to drink some kind of milk/dairy???

Thanks!

if he's eating a balanced diet than milk/dairy aren't necessary, there are plenty of other sources of calcium (actually, the calcium from dairy doesn't tend to get absorbed well, there's too much protein), protein, and fats. if you want to do a milk you could try goat milk, coconut, or soy.
