are ear infections contagious??

ANyone know if you can catch an ear infection? How about if it was one with a fever? HOw about a day after Dr. gave medicine?

 

We keep having friends that have them and I want to know if we should stay away. SOme people say one should.

No. They're not contagious, anymore than any other sort of infection.

No, they are not contagious. 

 

The cold that caused an ear infection you could catch, though.
