Daycare in Wareham/Marion area

We're looking for a new daycare for our 13 month old.  A center would be preferred, but a highly recommended licensed in home provider would also be considered.  We've been using Little People's College in Wareham for the past 7 months, but lately they've really been rubbing me the wrong way when it comes to what he's eating.  They seem to really be harping on the fact that we don't want him having junk food snacks, freezer pops, etc.  It's getting to the point that I don't trust them to be feeding him only what we send for him.  So, our search begins again.  Any suggestions?

It's not.  I actually talked to Heidi yesterday and had us added to her waitlist smile.gif  Unfortunately there's no guarantee anything will open up anytime soon.  So the search continues.

Hi!  I am a licensed daycare provider in Wareham and I have lots of learning materials to teach the kids.  I totally get the whole not wanting your kids to eat junk food.  I try really hard to make sure my kids are eating healthy and I also belong to a nutrition program for additional guidance.  I always try and work with my parents about their children's diets, after all it's your child.  I had a child last year with many food allergies so  I worked hand in hand with mom about reading labels on everything.  I love to cook and really am not a fan of processed foods.  You should never worry that your child is not eating what you would like them to.  Please let me know if you would like to come for an interview.

Thanks!

Tracy

I am not a member of Wareham child care so I am not sure who that last post was aimed at.  There are lots of wonderful providers in Wareham if you would like a change.

ohh so sorry if that came across wrong...I perhaps should clarify. the actual place I am referring to  is called Wareham Child Care. sorry if that wasn't clear. there are lots of fantastic child care providers in the area. WCC is an actual entity. I use to work there. The director that was there was horrific!
