I see nothing wrong w/having 9 million jars of ANYTHING. Especially considering rising food costs. Funny how when gas goes down, food prices do not, huh?
KQ, you rented an apple tree? Do tell.
DH and I ate Wendy's, as bad as that sounds, lol. We had to stop at the feed store to get some supplies for our chicks tomorrow. Then we were running late for our monthly bee club meeting, so Wendy's it was. I have to say, though, that the salad I had was VERY good. It was a baja salad, w/mixed greens, a hot pinto bean/tomato/onion chili flavored topping, shredded cheese, guacamole, and a sour cream/jalapeno dressing. Kids ate leftover chili over corn chips and made heart shaped cookies while we were gone. I ate more than I had planned, which was none. Got sick and it totally served me right. Not supposed to be eating grains OR sugar. Blech.
Tonight is grilled chicken legs, turnip greens, and baked sweet potatoes. Maybe I'll make fried apples to go with since we have quite a few. Or I'll open a can of home-canned plums and call it good. I have a rug I'd rather be working on today by the open windows. It is GORGEOUS here today! 70 degrees.
