looking for a baby/life book that is more adoption friendly

I am not exactly the scrapbooking type, but would like to have some sort of baby book equivilant for my dd. I didn't document things like first smiles, words, walking, etc with my 2nd dd and now that she is older and asks me  I wish I had. So I dont want to make the same mistake with baby dd. However, most books I see start out with a family tree and that mostly bugs me. So does anyone have any adoption friendly baby books they like?

I have "my family, my journey" for my DD.  I really like its contents...think I got it on amazon...

That's the one I got for my DS.  I really liked it.  I need to get another one for DD.  I like that it can be used for older child adoptions too.

It's not pre-formulated, but I just put together a life book for my dfd who was with us for 2.5 years, the first 2.5 years of her life.  I gathered photos of her life before she left us, went to Shutterfly and uploaded them, then added notations every so often.  You can pick the layout/how many pics/details of each page, and it's really customizable.  I got a 30% online code this past weekend, and I'm sure you could find one online.  It's called a photo book.  Shutterfly does really great work.  Just a thought!  Plus, it's less "hand" writing!

In looking through the various photobook options, I decided that MyPublisher has the best pricing and layouts (and ability to EDIT the layouts).

For dd, I've also been keeping a not-so-daily diary. I don't put things in every day, but when I do put something in I note the date.
