Preseed, multi use applicators vs. tube top

After reading about Preseed, I'm researching sperm friendly lubes and Preseed has two kinds.  Does 9 applicator means you only use 9 times and the left over is thrown away?  For those who use this, which one do you use?  Where do you all get this stuff?

I got the tube, which came with 9 empty applicators. I used the applicators sometimes and just the tube like normal lube sometimes. I am happy with it, but I forget exactly what the other options were...

Thank you Rosie for your reply.  I thought applicators were prefilled but it is good to know that they are not prefilled.
