SF anti-circ vote coming up: newspaper poll

The SF Appeal has a poll on its website asking readers' opinions about the upcoming vote in SF to "to make it a misdemeanor to circumcise, excise, cut or mutilate the foreskin, testicles or penis of another person who has not attained the age of 18." Violators would face up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Go vote! Looks like it's around 50/50 right now.

If there's any locale that could pass this, it's San Francisco. I'm still discouraged that circ is as common as it is in the Bay Area, but this is a start.
