18 mo. old DD has had a bad reaction to either detergent or sunblock, what can I use to soothe...

We were in Florida last week and DD's mild eczema cleared up while we were there, which was so nice for her!!  Now, sadly, she has a horrible rash that is causing her to scratch all the time.  I think it's from either a detergent I used while away or the sunblock we used on our last day there.  Her skin is a mess between the rash and all of the scratches and I'm not sure what would be safe to use to help soothe it and maybe speed up the healing.  Anyone have any suggestions?  My mother suggested Caladryl but I would prefer to use something more natural. BTW, we're going to the Dr. tomorrow afternoon.

Have you tried epsom salt baths?  They helped my DD when her skin was bad.  I would let her soak for 20-30 minutes than use lotion right after (I use vanicream because she reacted to everything else).
