Hey all My fiance and I are trying to conceive help.gif... My cycle has been wacky for the last 2 months is there anything i could use to force ovulation besides going to the dr. We don't have the time to keep running back and forth.... Any and all stories involving vitex will help. We've been trying for awhile and are getting frustrated thanks in advance

I was stuck in ttc land for years. I know how frustrating it is. Here's what we did..

First I got myself a Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor pretty cheap on ebay. Helpful in pinpointing ovulation.

I also took Evening Primrose Oil (supposed to help ewcm)

Drank Green-Tea, not sure why..just heard it was good for you lol.

Took cough syrup, supposedly helps the cm as well. Robitussin (not the dm kind though)

Baby Aspirin - again supposedly helps fertility and also took vitex.

But the month I got my bfp the only thing I did different that month was use Preseed. Because of that I would def recommend it.

You can also check out fertilityfriend.com, you can start your own fertility chart and that can help you figure out your fertile window based on cm, temps etc.

GL!

What's Preseed? I am ready to try anything! :)

Preseed is a sperm friendly lubricant. It can be ordered fairly cheap online and it was the only thing I tried differently the month we got our first BFP. I would def recommend trying it.

I am super irregular ( last cycle was 109 days long) and have had several ovarian cysts... I started taking vitex April 9th. I was spotty the first two weeks and had bad headaches the first week but those symptoms are gone now. I feel like I ovulated on 4/25 (I've been able to tell before w/ EWCM and cramping) so we'll see. Sorry I don't have any advice since I just started taking it. I've heard it can take 3-6 months to work but for some people it's been as short as 3 weeks. Good Luck!

Thanks for the Preseed tip. It's funny because after I read about PreSeed on here, I went and read a pregnancy book and there PreSeed was again. I think I'll try it!
