the eye dr wanted to give my steroid eye drops, but i nixed that idea due to BFing, so im wondering ..... since BM is so helpful with pink eye, diaper rashes, pimples, etc .... would it be crazy to try this for the white bump on the inside of my eyelids? the dr said they should go away "after a while" and that he doesnt know exactly what caused it

I don't know if this is the same, but I have had a tiny, clear blister show up on my eyelid. It's on the narrow portion between the eyelashes and the under side. They usually go away in a few weeks, but they're definitely annoying and painful. It feels like there's grit in my eye. I don't wear contacts, btw.

My brother had issues with goopy, itchy red eyes. My brother's optometrist had him 'scrub' his eye lashes daily in the shower until the issue went away. Scrub sounds much worse than it is. With a really small drop of baby shampoo (Johnson's) on a wet wash cloth you very, very gently swipe it back and forth across your eyelashes (EYES CLOSED!), and rinse completely.Â

I think this method was developed for people with bacteria in the eye, not allergies. But I did this last year when seasonal allergies were particularly bad and my eyes were itching like mad. It helped, and the shampoo never hurt.

Breast milk? Give it a try! I can't see how it would hurt. Come back and post with your results, I'm curious.
