ADD/ADHD Evaluations?

I live in Bavaria and work with the U.S. Army.  I am also fluent in German.  I am hoping to find information about ADD/ADHD evaluations using EEG or Pet Scans.  My child's teacher has told me more than once that she thinks he has ADD.  I would like to get him evaluated.  The pediatrician at the clinic and those at behavioral health only use such tools as a Connor's Rating scale which is subjective.  Does anyone know where to get an assessment either on a military installation or on the German economy?  Both my child and I are fluent in German.

Gosh, I don't really know. Have you tried calling around with Kinderpsychologen and hearing what their methods for testing are? I'd try that. My dd went through diagnostic testing a few years back and they also looked for signs for ADD/ADHD even though I didn't think she had that. All the child psychologist did was several months of play therapy. I'll ask the mom of my dd's friend, though. Her son (8-9 years old) has ADHD and is currently doing very well on his meds.

I hav never heard of a truly objective method for diagnosing ADHD using brain scans or EEG. I doubt you'll find a reputable practitioner doing that (if you do, let us know, I'd be interested!)
