DS wont stop fidgeting/wiggling...could there be a health related reason?

my husband and i are very concerned about ds.  lately he has been fidgeting a lot more to the point where its pretty much constant when hes awake.  he semi arches his back as if hes trying to lengthen his spine or something.  i used to think he did this because his shirt was wrinkled or something.  but it has become very constant now and he says his mid/low back hurts when i ask him.  although hes never cried or said it hurt him before.  

our chiropractor says there is nothing serious with him, but that his mid back is more rounded than normal, however thinking back, hes been doing this fidgety thing for awhile now.  

we want to rule out anything physical, because we also believe that our son is a little ocd about things and think it might be either habit or some type of tic.

are there any other symptoms i should be looking for?  something serious to get checked?  we have a well check in 3 weeks, but should we take him in sooner?

we're kind of at a loss right now because we've had other things going on with ds (stutter, sprained ankle) and we're just thinking that we're not getting the full picture or something.

any advice is appreciated!

How old is your son?

I've heard/read that sometimes pin worms can cause fidgeting like that.

Just a thought.
