permanent tooth coming in discolored. Help!

 My 7 yr old has one adult tooth in and it is slightly discolored and looks like it has a whiter/yellowish spot in the center. I am freaking out because I have been recently diagnosed with a chronic illness that is realted to leaky gut (Interstitial Cystitis) I am also worried I may have Celiac. I am not normally a hypochondriac- at all! But this has me so worried about my kids. Why is his tooth coming in like this??? I had no antibiotics/fevers during pregnancy and he has had no cavities. I feel like my kids may have inherited my leaky gut.

Did he have antibiotics or a very high fever before he turned one?  That is what our dentist said is the most common cause of weak enamel in the 6 year molars (which can come in at any time).  He may also have a cavity on those teeth so a checkup may be a good thing just in case.

Well, enamel defects (especially in adult teeth) are linked with celiac disease. Are you  getting tested? I would do that pronto and get your child tested.
