We're moving to Portland this summer.  We know lots of people out there...some of them queer, but none of them with kids!  Any live in the Portland area?

We live here, and we are currently in the early stages of the adoption process for our first kid, so hopefully we will actually *have* a kid in the next 1 - 2 years. There's someone else on the boards who is currently pregnant with #1 IIRC as well.

i'm going to law school this fall and (hopefully) my partner will be working at a deaf school in the area.  not sure where we're going to be living yet - depends on DP's job.

i do love NE though, so i wouldn't be surprised if we ended up there!

Hi there!  Well, we live down in Eugene and have kids and are definitely NOT the only lesbian's with kids so I know there has to be some up in P-town :)  Good luck with the move-when are you coming?

Hi! I'm a queer mama with two kiddos (3 and 9) and my gq partner has a 9 year old son as well. I know a few queer families around town but won't be officially living up there for another month. I've heard good things about PLOPP (besides the name) as well.

I'm totally up for a get together at a park or something!
