I always get really bad cramps from about 3-6 weeks.  That baby is just burrowing in nice and good!  :)

Cramping can be totally normal.  It's the cramping and bleeding you want to watch out for.  The second or third time around it seems the body reacts quicker to everything.  I got achier and heavier feeling much sooner with my subsequent pregnancies.

How are you feeling today? I have had 4 miscarriages, but i try not to worry unless there is bright red blood along with the cramping. Cramping is very normal in early pregnancy. Yesterday i had cramping and spotting but the ultrasound shows the baby is fine. Doc said that the babies placenta is attaching in a low spot on my uterine wall and that could be the source of the blood. I started a thread a while back about this and many many women wrote that they had cramping and spotting and baby came out fine. Try not to worry!

I had awful cramping with my son!! Bad enough to where I went to the hospital around 5-6 weeks because I thought something was wrong!!! He was fine, perfect & healthy. smile.gif

My last pregnancy I had cramping the first couple of weeks that felt like menstrual cramping. I did end up losing her later on at 17 weeks but it was unrelated to the cramping.

I'm at 5 weeks 3 days now, and the day before I tested, and for a couple of days after, I had pretty strong cramping almost all day & night long!!! Felt like a mega period was coming any second!! This was almost 2 weeks ago. Now I just have mild period like cramping off and on. Also, some "pulley, stretchy, twingey" type sensations, if you know what I mean.

I know it's totally normal for early pregnancy, but it is a little nerve wracking at the same time!!! Normal doesn't always mean comforting, especially after loss, so it can be hard even when you know everything is likely fine!

BTW, huge congrats on your pregnancy! orngbiggrin.gif
