Wheat and blood testing

We have the blood order to get this test..

http://www.questdiagnostics.com/hcp/testmenu/jsp/showTestMenu.jsp?fn=10659.html&labCode=AMD

or at least that's what popped up on google when I put in the code.

My dd is 2 and never had any kind of gluten whatsoever. There's wheat in the test which I am happy about. It would make her life a lot easier. She does have autism though. Not sure how they relate at this point.

I believe the norm is 2 months on wheat?? but... I was thinking maybe I could delay doing the bloodwork for a few weeks and give her a small bite of gluten every day. Would that be enough to show up on the test or no? Or do I need to at all? I get drop dead sick with gluten so I'm a paranoid mommy. Her father is just fine though.

opinions?

(btw she is doing this because of allergies/excema)

Since I can't delete.. I read she needs to eat a slice of bread a day for near 2 months. Doesn't appear to be any way around it and even then it doesn't prove much :/ Wish I had the money for other testing
