Ok...  so I am in desperate need of encouragement lately....  was supposed to test for results of second attempt at home insemination tomorrow and AF came in with a roaring vengeance this morning.....  everything seemed so right at the timing of insemination with +OPK, clear ovulation pains later that night, and insemination within 24 hours of the pain...

I hear and read stories everyday of couples who try repeatedly and take years and multiple attempts for the BFP...  how do you keep from getting discouraged each time it is a no?????  I am only on time number two and have found myself devastated each time....

My cousin just went through that and succeeded on try #3.  Third time's the charm?  I'm sorry, I know how frustrating it can be.  You hope and wait and scrutinize symptoms and wait...  But the reality is human reproduction is not terribly efficient it can take a while for the right cycle- the right egg.  You mentioned OPK's and ovulation pain... do you also temp and chart CF and CP?  It could assist you in determining how fertile you are that particular cycle, spot any possible fertility issues, and give you something to do each day during that long 2ww.

Oh yes... I chart it all like a madwoman....  and I know it will happen when it is supposed to....  it is just SO incredibly defeating when everything seemed so right for the month!!   and needless to say, patience is NOT something I am blessed with much of....
