am i pregnant with twins

im 17weeks pregnant and i look so much bigger than i should be, this is my second pregnancy so i know im going to show sooner but everyone keeps telling me i look to big lool. im defo 17 weeks because my first scan confirmed it and they didnt see a second baby but ive heard they can miss 1 in the 1st scan. whats the chances i could be carrying twins?

I was shocked at how much sooner I showed the second time around.  Now I'm 9 weeks pg with #3 and I look like I did 6 months pregnant with my first!  How much you show early will be exacerbated by how close together your pregnancies are, whether your abs separated, and whether your abs had a chance to heal.  Your abs hold in your organs, so the stronger they are, the less you tend to show.  In my case, I had a decent sized ab separation and that allows my organs to push out a lot sooner. 

Unless twins run in your side of the family, your chance of twins is quite low (like less than 1%) and since a second baby wasn't seen on the scan, your chances would be even lower.
