We are finally planning a cubby house again - this has been an on and off thing for a couple of years - and are getting stuck. Can anyone help with ideas/pictures/plans?
These are our "requirements":
-Something that doesn't look too much like a box (even a curved roof, perhaps???), I really don't like a lot of the cubby houses I've seen on the net, they look so sterile and angular.
-something that can be started off (like the frame) and then slowly added to (so the children can help create).
-I like the idea of the front of the cubby having an extended covered area so the kids can play in the dirt when it's raining, rather than just inside the cubby.Â
-perhaps a few steps or a short ladder up for fun.Â
-not too tall so it doesn't go too far past the fence line.Â
-cheap(ish) to make
