Had C. Difficile from an antibiotic - now taking Florastor & Flagyl...help?

I became very very sick about 2 weeks after taking a strong antibiotic for oral surgery..... I was diagnosed with C. Difficile (stool sample determined I had it - at the ER where I wound up).   I was put on Flagyl for 14 days (dropped one dose down the drain by mistake so lost one dose).  About 4 days on the Flagyl, I was told to start taking Florastor and eating yogurt..... I try to eat Yogurt (2 cups a day) as well.... What else can I be taking with the Florastor (which I am taking twice a day) to help because I am scared to death it will return once I stop the Flagyl.... I keep reading how so many people relapse once off the Flagyl...

So sorry to hear you are going through that! I also had a hard time after taking two different antibiotics for an infection in my c-section scar. I had rectal bleeding and was tested for c-diff, but the test came back negative. Sounds like you are on top of things and taking probiotics. How are you doing now?
