Post c-section jeans?

Hey ladies,

I am about a year post c-section and through sheer luck my tummy doesn't look that bad. I have been cooped up all winter and have had no energy due to exhaustion so I haven't gotten back down to my pre-pregnancy size. I have been wearing mostly yoga pants and some maternity pants (shhh don't tell anyone:) and I am looking for some jeans that don't give me a muffin top but also hold in "the shelf" as I have heard it so aptly described lol. My tummy is fairly flat but there is a bit of a bump in my lower belly that I want to keep under wraps. Any ideas? Any top ideas if I can't find jeans that give me the appearance I want? I am fairly big busted (due to pregnancy and nursing) and fairly proportionate, size 8-ish. Thanks!

My favorite jeans have a super wide and fairly high (not mom-jean high, but higher than what my students wear) waist band.

Like these:

I also love the Lucky Brand Sailor Jeans, but those are definitely a bit low in the rise, so they are better for either flowy princess cut tops, or post Ab workout.

Thanks! I'll have to try on some pairs like these:)

I've always been told (and ignored) that ideally you want jeans to be about 2 inches below the belly button, Any higher and your mom jeanin it. Good luck in your search!

They're a bit pricey, but I love "Not Your Daughter's Jeans" - have been the only pair I fit into just yet!
