My husband and I are just starting to TTC #2 this cycle. I'm on CD 17 right now, the earliest I would test is next Saturday, CD 24 (when I got a positive with my daughter). I am pretty sure I already ovulated, and we definitely had some good timing. I'm not really charting anything this cycle except CM. I really want to relax about TTC until July (my daughter's 2nd birthday and when we plan to wean). My cycles are still a little weird so I don't want to worry about too much while she is still nursing. So I'm not taking OPKs or anything, just trying and hoping!
Â
Fnord: If I were you I'd wait a few more days to assess the accuracy of the crosshairs. I've had erratic temps like that and sometimes a few extra days of temps provides more insight.

Alicewyf - would you like to be added to our group?Â
Hope your TTC journey isn't long!
Â
Fnord - if you temp is still up tomorrow I would say you probably O'd. Sometimes (or every cycle for some) your chart can have a temp dip (due to hormones) before it rising to confirm O. I had this pattern last cycle. So FF may be right. It also may rise more slowly or more ambiguously some cycles. If this is the case I think the rule is after 3 temps that have been at least .4 degrees above your highest of the last 6 days you can considered yourself having O'd. Sorry, I don't have the book in front of me (Taking Charge of Your Fertility) but I coulld check later. Did you have all other symptoms of having O'd?

Congratulations Lactatinggirl!
Â
AFM, Can I be moved to Waiting to Know please, I got a solid line on CD22, so now I'm 3DPOÂ
. If I conceived this cycle my EDD would be Australia Day and my in-law's anniversary, a first grandbaby would be a pretty cool gift to give them. On that note, I'm really worried sick because it looks like DH's sister is going to get married in a few months. If they get PG right away I don't know what I'll do...I'm the youngest of 6 so I am the last in my family to do everything. I thought it would be so great because DH is the oldest in his family to be able to give his parents, and grandparents, the first grand/great grandbaby since we were the first married couple of all of his cousins. Well, we've already missed out on the first great grandbaby. So fingers crossed this cycle works!!
Â
Good luck everyone!

Today has been a bit weird for me. First, it's my birthday and its also Mother's Day. I really, really wanted a BFP for a birthday gift. Seeing all these mothers at church today wasn't easy either. Especially since a few were my age with baby's a couple months old. Why can't I get pregnant?!!?!!

Alicewyf I added you! SoÂ
officially! I need some of your positive attitude about TTC #2. #1 took us a while as well and #2 seems in no hurry...
Â
FairyMeÂ
and Happy Birthday!!!Â
Â
Some of you have been asking to be "moved" (and YAY for those who are waiting to know! Good luck w/ your 2ww!). But we really only have a list of everyone, what # they are TTC and BFP's. I think it would be awesome if we kept track of where we were like the One Thread but that is something I don't have the time for at the moment. Maybe the next thread keeper will be more ambitious!Â
Â
Happy Mother's day to those of you who are, andÂ
Â
Â
that those who aren't will be soon!!!

Monday Check-In
Name: SilaMarila
Date: 5/9
Chart:Â http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/SilaMarila
Where are you in your cycle: CD14
Appointments: N/A
Symptoms if they apply: O signs. EWCM, HSO, just noticing a little bit of O cramping this morning
Testing: + OPK this morning!!!!!!
Thoughts: I think this will have been the earliest I have ever O'd! Fingers crossed that gone are the days of the mega-long cycle (or as I think fnord put it "inficycle"!). Timing could not be better. DH is on a day-shift for the next few days! Still 12 hr shifts but at least he isn't sleeping all day and working all night and we can BD when he gets home and DS is in bedÂ
I'm not even in 2ww yet and once again I am 100% convinced that THIS is the month it's going to happen!!!

Monday Check-In
Name: Heather aka maevankayt
Date: May 9
Chart:Â http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/maevankat
Where are you in your cycle: Day 22, maaaaybe DPO 1
Appointments: N/A
Symptoms if they apply: Nothing yet. Some cramping yesterday which I think was ovulation pain.
Testing: I did an OPK yesterday and had a faaaaaaaint line, so I'm going to try again today. We'll see.
Thoughts: I'm backing off a bit this month. It's better for us, in terms of work, etc... to aim for more of a spring/summer baby at this point, so we're not too focused on trying right now. More than anything, I want to see what my ovulation cycle is like as I've had issues with my charts the last few months.

It looks like we have lots of May birthdays in this group. Mine is this Thursday. No BFP for a present though, I still have nine more days before I'll allow myself to test. I'm pretty laid-back about this cycle at this point, I think. I don't really think it will be my month for some reason, and I'm okay with that.
However, I have been feeling this gnawing hunger type of feeling in my stomach that starts a couple days after O both this cycle and last. I don't know if I've just never noticed it before because I wasn't really charting closely, or if I'm just being hypersensitive because I'm ttc. Does anyone else have this?

Thanks Sila & Alice for checking out my chart. I have not read The Book yet, since this is only cycle 2 of ttc so it's nice to hear feedback from someone more knowledgable (sp?).

Has your temp stayed up? I guess I should just go peek at your chart LOLÂ
Purchasing TCOYF was one of the BEST decisions I ever made! It is an invaluable resource that I always go back to! You will not be disappointed.Â
Â
*Edit*Â
Yup you have a definite temp shift nowÂ
I would say FF is right and you are about 5DPO

Name: Mary
Date: 5/9/11
Chart: on my phone
Where are you in your cycle: cd 26, 9 dpo?
Appointments: met with midwife for interview last week.
Symptoms if they apply: REALLY tender nipples
Testing: maybe Friday
Thoughts: I still am not "feeling" pregnant and I don't really think I am, but at the same time I kinda do. Oh well. I'm fine with things however they shake down because I'm going on vacation on Saturday and if I'm not i can drink a little. We'll see.

ok, I don't mean to break from the main topic but I thought this is something worth sharing here. I read an article in Glamour magazine that said that homicides related to domestic violence are going up not down. They also pointed out a statistic that in 2010, 83,027 calls went unanswered to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, about 1,590 a week, due to lack of funding and volunteers. If you want to help you can text TELLNOW to 85944 and the Avon Foundation will match your donation of $10 to the cause. Â
