I couldn't even make it through the article because the more I read about how wonderful the pharmaceutical companies are manufacturing these vaccines, the more I wanted to throw up.  angry.gif

It's bad enough the schedule has tripled, now they have to combine them all (or most of them anyway). No words....just complete disgust.

I had not heard of this - but it is not surprising. As the number of vaccines that are added to the schedule continue to increase - combo vaccines are going to have to come into play more. Otherwise can you imagine how parents would react when the doc gets out 25 syringes at the 2 month visit!

I think parents will have a false sense of security and may think Oh my child is only getting 1 shot today - never mind that it is for 6 diseases that a child would never encounter at the same time in nature.

They're using the 6 in 1 already in Europe. My poor nephews got it. The first one of the kind was pulled from the market after several incidents of "SIDS" in Germany. The newer one is still in use. They initiated a study called TOKEN to look into it and it is finished but results are not released. Vaccine critics in Germany are trying to get their hands on the data but the Robert Koch institute keeps it locked away. One wonders why...

(And I'm not even opposed to all vaccines, but I find more than one shot in 6 months way too much. So of course 6 in 1 shots administered at the same time as Prevnar and Rotarix and then even a flu shot at 6 months makes me shudder).
