We've been trying for about three years now, DS will be 5 next week! I had a very early miscarriage about a year and a half ago (before I could get a positive test result). Here's the kicker - we had finally gotten around to setting up an appointment at a fertility clinic that my acupuncturist had recommended, and I get to cancel it!

I felt mittelschmertz this time (did with DS, too) and that puts me at Jan 8. DS was almost 3 weeks early, though, so it could be December. Wow, this is so amazing, I thought it would never happen!

I’ve been pretty sure I was pregnant for a week or so, but I waited to take the test because I had false negatives last time from testing too early.

I got my BFP last night, due January 3 (same birthday as my FIL, uncle IL and mum!).  We've been trying since February this year and I just celebrated my birthday, so this is a nice present for me :)

Hi everyone! I finally got my BFP last Wednesday and am currently 5w3d along, due 1/1/12. Husband and I were not going to even start trying until next month but funny enough, I knew the moment it happened and it was an excruciating wait to get the confirmation on a stick. No symptoms yet except extreme fatigue ( may be due to a cold) and tender breasts. I am hoping for more symptoms (morning sickness) to occur soon however, since they are supposed to be a good sign that everything is progressing as it should.

Took a test this morning and it was positive within seconds. I did notice that the package had an expiration date for 2010 so I just bought another 2 to take so that I can be sure. Dh and I weren't really trying we had one night where we weren't careful and here we are with a January 9th due date! This will be #3 for us :D

Michelle, extreme fatigue and sore nipples were the early symptoms that I had last time around (and sore nipples this time, so far, feels almost like thrush, I can understand why my mom stopped BFing me when she got pregnant with my sister!). That's definitely a good sign! I didn't really have a problem with morning sickness (cross the fingers!), just very low-level nausea and aversion to shopping for vegetables. It was funny because I was all ready for morning sickness and I'd read a few books about it, and then it wasn't a problem! Joining a CSA helped with the veggie problem. :)

Another symptom I have is that my belly seems to be packing on the fat! This happened to me last time too.

I took one around 9 DPO too, I had one of those "is it there or am I imagining stuff" moments.. If you glanced it looked like BFN.. then I took a clear blue digital and bam, pregnant!

Yea! I get to join here too! I'm excited that I found a board on Mothering this time around. I have a 21 month old daughter and when I was pregnant with her I was on a different site. It was nice to have the general support, but I am SO much more um, hippy, crunchy, natural, (whatever you want to call me) than most I had to keep my mouth shut in a lot of the conversations. I had my first daughter at home with a wonderful midwife and am planning on having a homebirth again. We moved to a different state in January so I will have to find a new midwife. I got my BFP on the 1st and I am probably due around Jan. 6th. My daughter is still breastfeeding so there is no way I can temp right now so not exactly sure when I ovulated. I'm excited to get to know you ladies!

Hi all!!! Congratulations on your expected babies! We just found out yesterday that we're expecting another little one in early January(the 6th?)! I 'm very, very, very excited but also extremely cautious because I do have a history of pregnancy loss. My daughter is going to be four in July and we've been trying since just before her first baby to give her a sibling.

Because of my history of loss, we've decided not to tell anyone but I'm finding that I'm needing some support, so thought I would pop in and post. It's hard to be so incredibly thrilled and yet ultra nervous but I figured you guys would understand!

Thanks!!! I am getting a bit worried that morning sickness has not kicked in yet and fatigue is dying down so it feels good to hear that not every woman experiences similar symptoms. This is my first so praying that this first trimester is uneventful and goes well. Best of luck to you!

Hi everyone. So grateful and happy to be pregnant, but I have a lot of mixed/reserved feelings. We had a miscarriage around 9wks in November 2009. Last November, 2010, our son was stillborn at 28wks from a freak accident with an extremely twisted cord, resulting in a large blood clot at the base of his umbilical cord. He was due this past February, so we are obviously still heartbroken without our baby here with us. However, we are both incredibly grateful about the baby within. Just not as "expectant of the future" as I've been before. I am due January 8th.

Hi, all! I got a faint + HPT on Wednesday (10dpo) and have tested every day since to see the line darken. I am now 13dpo. My due date is the 15th of January based on an Easter day ovulation.

L'lee, SparklingGemini, we also had a long journey to get pregnant. We started TTC before our son turned 1 last April, and I am pregnant a year later. We will also have to cancel our RE appt, which was scheduled for the end of May.

Hello everyone! I got a very very faint BFP at 11 DPO last Thursday. So faint that I didn't believe it was actually there. Took another one at 12 DPO and there was a light line. Still a light line this morning. Either way, I'm pregnant! Yay! Due January 14th (though I'm just going to tell people January) which is 1 week after my brother's birthday and 2 days before my brother-in-law's birthday. :-P

I'm due on the 9th (based off of LMP), but my cycles were still wonky from nursing DS. My b-day is on the 11th, so we will see! Take care everyone! :)

Hi everyone! I just got a BFP on Monday the 2nd, and we are estimating the baby is due around Jan 23rd. This baby was very much a surprise. :) I have a 3.5 year old DS and 18 month old DD. I have a very very strong feeling that this is a boy.

Not completely sure of our due date. Most likely early January (6th or 7th). Had an early u/s on Friday and she said baby was measuring 5 weeks, which coincides with the date that we were thinking we conceived.  Said it was the earliest she's ever seen a heart beat.  This will be #2 for us.  DS will be 4 in September.  We were not trying, in fact I had just accepted that #2 was most likely not going to happen (we had fertility treatments the first time to get our BFP).  Just gave away all our baby clothes.  Still trying to let it sink in!

that's amazing!! congrats!  I had an u/s yesterday at 5w5d and saw the heartbeat, but I was worried it was too early.  5 weeks is awesome!

I got a very faint bfp this morn, according to lmp I'm right at 4 wks.  I think I may have had a couple of chemical pregnancies in the past year so I'm a little nervous still and trying to balance the positive thinking with the reality of statistics.  I feel fine so far, pretty tired today, been quite hungry the past few days.  With DS I started feeling bad about 2 days after I tested.  Here's hoping this time will be different!  I won't have as much time to worry about it with my wild 3 year old son running around though.

What a great way to celebrate mother's day.  I gave DH a hug and said "Good morning dear, I'm feeling very POSITIVE about this mother's day"  He knew right away since he knew I was thinking of testing again today.  I want to wait as long as possible to tell DS.

Hi all. I would like to join here. I got my positive today. This makes #4 for me.  My "official" due date would be Dec 30, but not one of my other kids came on or before their due date, and it has always been depressing for me to see everyone else in my DDC having their babies and I go 2-3 weeks past my date. So this time I'm PLANNING on little one coming "late" which would put me sometime in January!

I'm very excited and looking forward to this pregnancy.
