January 2012 Babies!! - Page 5

Hi.

I'm Lisa, mom to 7 already and so happy to be due 1/14/12.  I found out 5/5, and really have been in shock--happy shock-- about this little bean.  Hubby and I were not TTC, but did plan in it.  We knew we wanted more children.  I lost my mom a few months ago, and was having such a hard time dealing...I feel like this baby was sent to us to help our family from such a loss.  I'm really happy to be here!

I'm due January 1 with my second (my first is a year and a half old).   Guess I should start preparing to hear Mayan Apocalypse jokes, huh?

;)

Nice to meet everyone, by the way... this is my first mothering.com forum post!

Hi everyone!  I would like to join :)

I got a bfp this morning, and am due at the end of January, 5 days after my 30th birthday!

This is my first pregnancy.  No symptoms yet, just feeling happy and excited!

Hi ladies.  I didn't ever introduce myself.  I have an almost 5 year old. (Isn't that such a bittersweet milestone?) We thought we'd adopt in between and worked on that for a year and a half.  Eventually we decided to wait because the timing wasn't right.  We tried for about 13 months, and got pregnant after IVIG treatment for another reason.  I'm due on January 20th, and will probably meet the little angel around the 13th.  (Repeat section because of autoimmune/neurological condition.)   So far we've just told my mom, doctors, and  a couple close friends.  I haven't broken it to the rest of the family yet...The day after we found out, my husband got laid off.  I haven't felt like explaining that yet. ;)

Hi everyone, I am due 1/25/12, and happy to be here. I got my first BFP 5 days ago, but it still seems so unreal. DH and I already have a beautiful daughter, and we are now trying to get used to the idea of welcoming another sweet baby!

Isn't it hard to grasp that a LO is growing inside of you when there are no physical signs yet? Well, I have no morning sickness (yet), just like I never had it with my 1st.

Hello to all of you!

I have a 12/21 EDD, but my first three pregnancies went anywhere from 8 days to 17 days past my previous EDDs.  I hope you all don't mind my hanging out in here while I'm part of the Dec. DDC.  Because my pregnancies go long, many of my DDC friends disappear as they greet their wonderful babies, so it's nice to get to know some Mamas who will be around later in my pregnancy to chat with.

I have three daughters, ages 7, 5, and 2.  My last two births were at home, so I'm hoping for another home birth this time around.

Hi!  I've enjoyed reading all your posts and I'm so glad that I found a place to hang out with other pregnant women! :)  I'm 6w1d (due Jan. 14), we got pregnant on our first "real" try (I'm living in Italy and my husband is in the U.S., so this was the first time we managed to BD while I was fertile)!!!  Hubby thought it would take a long time to conceive and BOOM!  I'm 35 and this is our first... I'm experiencing a slew of symptoms, from nausea, slight cramping and HUGE hunger attacks, to tired legs and mood swings... And sore boobs with sensitive nipples!

Is anyone else crazy hungry this early in their pregnancy?  I'm sure it's not mental, there are times that I simply MUST eat or I'll pass out. eat.gif I'll be going back to the States in seven weeks (grad school is over!) and I'm looking forward to hanging out on this thread more often once my finals are over.  GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!joy.gif

Me.. If I'm not nauseous, I'm starving!

Welcome to all the new ladies! H&H 9 mo (well, rest of the 9 mo.)!

Me too!  It's either indigestion/feeling like I'll get sick, or I feel like I need to eat something every two hours.

Hi all...I just got my second BFP today, I am due late January, but have a feeling I may spill over into February. We have 21 month old twins, so it will be crazy having 3 babes 2 and under! We are really excited....I am feeling like I have crazy allergies, my boobs are achy, (and it doesn't help that I'm still nursing my toddlers, it makes them more achy), and I'm tired. We've told a few close friends but are waiting a bit longer to tell family. It's nice to "meet" all of you on here, I look forward to chatting with you in the coming months. Oh, we're hoping for a HBAC with some midwife friends.

whoo hoo, just found out on Monday that we're expecting our second.  Due at the end of January but I was 2 weeks late with my first.  Hopefully this little one has a calendar in there!  Couldn't resist spreading the news this time. Most of our family already knows.  Probably going to wait to tell our friends and co-workers but Facebook might make that a little hard to do.  Looking forward to comparing stories and sharing experiences:)

Joining up I'm due 10th January still quite nervous after a 9 week loss in late march but feeling optimistic today.

Not many symptoms apart from nausea if I don't eat so I'm eating regularly :) but tummy is very bloated. I almost feel as if I'm 9 months some days.

I'm nursing my 3 year old lots still but no latch on pain so far.

Congrats, Purplefish!  You may want to check out the Pregnancy After Loss thread within our ddc, I've found it helpful to stop by there for some support, having had a m/c myself in March as well.  =)
