Worth the Wait

We started this journey in June of 2008, and I'm thrilled to say that we brought our new son home last Thursday!  He turned 6 months on Friday and is a total delight.  He seems to feel right at home, the kids adore him, he laughs and smiles at them, and it feels like everything worked out exactly like it was supposed to.

Congratulations on your son.

 

It's really hard to wait, then afterwards it all seems so fast. We had problems with the agency we were with. We started with them in September and our relationship with them ended in February. We started with a certifying only agency in March. (We had to find our own baby.) When she was born in August it all seemed so fast. And if we hadn't had the problems with that agency, she would not have become our daughter. We feel so blessed.
