1 yr old and still no period

Anyone else have no sign of it yet?

It took this long for my last two. I think I night weaned them at around 1 and got it right away.

This one is not eating enough yet to even consider it. She is still nursing every 2-3 hours day and night.

Now that I posted this, I'll probably get it next week!

My little one will be one on the 26th and I've not seen hide nor hair of Aunt Flo which is fine by me! Sadly, however, DD is rapidly losing interest in nursing so I predict my period free days are coming to an end. I was hoping we'd make it another year but she's so active now and just wants to go, go, go! We're down to only three good sessions a day, morning, naptime and bedtime. Oh well...  I guess this is what BLW is all about, allowing her to wean at her own pace. Still, I'll miss the closeness and not having period.

I got mine at 15 months and 19 months with my kids :)  The last few months made me a bit nervous because I always wondered if I was pregnant, but it's nice to have the time off.

I've had four. I got my period back at 11 months, 4 months, 15 months and 18 months pp. I have no idea what factors affected it, but I enjoyed the long break last time around.

I got IUD'd at about 14 weeks out, and aside from a few days of spotting after that, I've not had a visit. Not that I am complaining--we're 99% sure we're done (that 1% is why I have an IUD and did not have a ligation when I had the c-section).

We'll see what happens when the baby weans. My doctor said some women simply don't menstruate with the IUD. I no longer feel I need the montly "thank god I'm not pregnant" reminder, so this is fine by me.

Haha, very similar story here. My LO was born 2 days before yours, and is also getting majorly distracted away from nursing by exploring and running around. He is also starting daycare 3x/week right now and I suspect once that gets going he'll fall into a routine of morning and evening nursing, to sleep and a bit at night and that's it. So yeah, although I haven't gotten it yet, I do expect to be seeing my first PP period soon.

PJ- (off topic) but our boys were born the same day! When ever I see a post from you I keep meaning to message you.

Anyways, my boy'll be 1 on the 24 and still no sign...which is fine by me. I just keep thinking it'll come at the most inconvienant time when I'm out and not prepared!!!
