Oh, and for anyone that's interested - the book The Art & Science of Dumpster Diving is a great read. I came across it way back in high school, and that's how I got my friends into the Hostess factory dives.

I've never gone into dumpsters for food, but I used to cycle through the back alleys and when I found fruit trees not being picked, I'd knock on the door and ask if I could have some apples/pears/cherries ...
