Femara and ovulation

Hello! Im new here and fairy new to TTC.

Im 28 and we have been TTC on our own for like a year and nothing.

I went to my doctor and I have mild PCOS and he prescribed Femara.

I took femara day 5-9.

Day 10 and 11 I spotted a little, nothing to be alarm. Only when I went to pee I could see it in my toilet paper.

Today is CD 13 and since yesterday I have been having ovulation symptoms. Cramping constantly, I was nauseus this morning, a little back pain but no mucus. I read mucus might not show up do to the medication. Ive been doing Ovulation kits since day 9 and all of them have come up negative. Some of them I can see the two lines, but not the same color. Today I got clearblue digital, maybe with the 0 or happy face will be easier but I understand they were all negative. Is this normal? Any stories you all wanna share wiyh me from your first cycle??? please! I want this more than anything!

Femara tends to make you ovulate late.  Are you temping?  Otherwise, keep using the OPKs, but you may want to test 2 times a day so you don't miss your surge.

I, too, have PCOS and did Femara this cycle (though I was on days 3-7). I started OPKs on day 5 (never used them before and wanting to get a good baseline), and never got a +OPK, or fertile mucus. However, my RE had wanted me to use an hCG shot to trigger ovulation, anyway, so after getting a -OPK on day 20 (also using the digital the whole time), I got the shot. Don't know if that's an option for you, but it's a thought. I'm currently halfway through my TWW... we'll see what happens!

Oh, and I had an ultrasound on CD 12, and my biggest follicle was only 12 mm, so I had another ultrasound CD 16, and the biggest was 18 mm.
