Omg I jsut came on to write this post. My 10 month old is groaning and whining all the time. It's so frustrating. I literally can't do ANYTHING without listening to whining. It's not crying, it's like grunting and whining. What's up with this?

My 9 mo too! I hate this anxious whining sound! Its intense and I have found no cure except distraction like a walk.

Yeah, we've got that around here too. It doesn't bother me too much. I just try to think that my DS probably has lots of things that he is frustrated about much of the time, and this is how he can express it- he can't talk yet! I try to accept that he's got emotions and moods and he's a person going through a ton of stuff at any given time.

Distraction works- I try to flip things around and make him laugh, tickle him or just give him a hug.

This is so true. Thank you for reminding me of that.
