small car, have an evenflo triumph, want a second seat that will ideally allow for two to rearface

I have a 2005 nissan sentra, and have been using the convertible triumph. DD is almost a year, we are going to need a second car seat (will be starting daycare so both need to be able to transport). I would like the carseats to fit RF in the sentra in the future should we have our second child soon (we will probably try before too long and then we can stop daycare.) If not rear facing, I guess around 2 we can flip DD forward anyways. She HATES car rides so we've been considering flipping her sooner anyways should we not be able to find a solution (but that was another post lol).

When I bought the evenflo, things like britrax were too expensive and radian's weren't locally available but now both are relatively affordable. I think that some of those were smaller and could possibly fit.

What do you suggest?

oh- and we are taking the triumph with us next week while we go on vacation to NV so ideally I will buy something to put in the car by then.

What about the Cosco Scenera or OnSide Air?  Those are lightweight and would be more travel-friendly than the Triumph.

Great prices! Those both seem to have really low weight limits for RF and also using all together? only 40lbs limit so I think I'd have to buy another seat down the road? I think I already have to buy another one after my Evenflo, unfortunately. I'd like one that would last till booster age.

Well, you can do a scenera (35 this week on sale at target) plus a maestro later (80) which will get her to booster age for $115.  Or you can buy a more expensive seat.  For travel, the Complete Air is really lightweight.  Just a bit heavier than the scenera.  Very tall shell, 40 rfing 65 ffing, will last until booster age.  It runs around $170.

I am in Canada. Most of our RF and even FF limits on the seats seem to be different. (less here). Also, the seats are far more expensive! I think the cheapest seem to run around $100+ for the cheap ones available at walmart. It's in the mid 200s+ for a "better" seat, so if I have to buy two cheapies it's better to just fork out the money for the good one if it will last! Then I'm only spending an extra $50-100.

I guess I will have to look at manufacturers sites- do they post the dimensions of the seats I wonder?

I am reading that the complete air won't fit in a small car :(

Reading that where?  The Complete Air fits fine in a Sentra.

The complete air installs very upright and fits well in  small cars.  It takes up less room rfing than my dd's myride!  And the shell is WAY taller.

I read that on car-seat.org. Then I also read that it fits great in small cars lol.
