I did not anticipate this problem! My one week old started out great but around 7 days old she started to refuse to nurse, latching on and pulling off screaming. I spend an hour trying to get her latched. She's also jaundiced and so she needs food to get rid of it. I'm so worried!
I also suspect we have thrush. I had a repeat c section and although I started probiotics, I am having pain in between feedings...she also had my one nipple broke open making me more prone to getting thrush. My Dr. called in Nystantin as I've been trying all the other methods since Sunday with little effect.
This sucks! Please help! My baby needs to nurse!!
