Question about religious exemptions in NH

Hello,

I'm in the process of registering my 5 year old for kindergarten in NH.  She has been partially vaccinated and I am considering having her get an updated polio shot in a few weeks (but I don't want to do the others),  but I'm unsure how this is going to impact claiming a religious exemption.  I understand that I simply need to fill out/sign a notarized form- please correct me if I'm wrong.  But it's not like she's not vaccinated at all- I don't know what to expect... like if I'll have to explain myself at all.  What are they allowed to ask me?   I'd love to hear from anyone who has been through this experience with their child (that is partially vaccinated).  I just want to be as prepared as I possibly can.

thanks

Hi-

Our son attends public kindergarten and is also partially vaccinated.  We have had no problems at all.  Just received the waiver from the nurse, had it notarized, no questions asked.  I know that there are a number of other families in our community who selectively vax or don't vax at all, as well.  I think it is much more common than people realize!  Feel free to PM me if I can answer any more questions.  Good luck!

My oldest is partially vaxed.  I did a religious exemption last year for kindergarten and no one made a big deal out of it.
