Suggestions on food?

What is a good food for our new German shepherd pup. We feed our boxers a Kent line of dog food that has good oils and 30% protein. They r really active and olde and short hair. It's been a long time since a pup and we've never had a long hair and one that will be his size. My dh had Gsd's as a child and it was a farm dog so unfortunately not a lot of thought put into the care of the dogs. We r different we get them as part of the family so I want the best. I've always had short hair ,boxers, so I want to make sure of growth, hair, health, and all the other important factors in his health.

Yes, that is what we do. With our GSD pup we ground it when she first came home at 2 months and then moved her to cut up chunks and now she is on whole pieces like our adult dogs.
