getting rid of yeast?

I loaned my newborn stash to my SIL so she could see how she liked cd-ing.  Unfortunately, while she had them they were battling constant yeast infections.  The diapers are still like new and I am due with my 2nd this summer.  Is there any way to be sure to get the yeast out so I can use them again or should I just trash them and buy new ones?

There are several ways to rid diapers of yeast and bacteria- no need to trash them!

*1/4 cup bleach in the hot wash, rinse well

*Boil the diapers- any with plastic snaps shouldn't be boiled

*Put them in the top rack of your dishwasher- again careful of any with snaps

*Dry them i n the sun for several hours- if you lay them out (instead of hang), be sure to flip them part way through

*Add grapeseed, thyme, or tea tree extract to the wash load (about 10-15 drops)

Good luck!
